I used to think nurses
were women
I used to think police
were men
I used to think poets
were boring
until i became one of them.

We black men of england
to proud to cry for shame
lets cry a sea
cry publikly
expose our very pain
for bablylon the bandit
is on our sisters trail
the bad walk
the cool talk
will not keep us out of jail
